hey guys. apparently, something is wrong with morpheus.com and streamcastnetworks.com. its not loading! did the riaa screw morpheus or something? or is it just server troubles.

I doubt it. It looks like it's just a problem with their server(s).

i downloaded Morpheus (win98) and it took over my mp3's as default player although i didn't make it the default during install

i have installed, uninstalled because of the probs i was having....
everytime i started the prog it just froze up
when i uninstalled the last time and went to change the player for mp3's i couldn't find it under File Types and when i clicked on an mp3 to play it said it needed "Program.exe" to play the mp3!

like what's with that!?

i went to the musiccity site to get help but guess what!
NO MUSIC CITY!

did these guys leave town for some reason!?

now someone please tell me how to reclaim my default player for mp3's

Open your old player, go to options and look for "file types/associations/extensions".
