Hi, I hope someone can help me with this problem. I just recently re-installed Windows XP on my computer. Before then I had the freeware version of Morpheus installed on my computer and never had any problems with it. To avoid all the popups etc, I decided to install the ultra version on my computer this time around. However, now Morpheus Ultra 4.6.1 can't connect to Gnutella or Neonet. It keeps saying "Connecting..." on the status bar without success. I have disabled the XP firewall and it still doesn't help. but no solutions has been presented, as of yet. Does anyone know why Morpheus can't connect? Is it a glitch with the Ultra version or what?

Yeah, I've tried to reboot but that isn't it. Like I said the free-ware version worked without a glitch before I re-installed XP. I am trying to figure out if re-installing windows is the culprit or if it has to do with using the Ultra version of Morpheus.

I'll take a look at this tomorrow, but in the meantime I suggest try 1. redownload the installer then 2. reinstall and 3. try again

The installer was updated yesterday, so if you try the above and still have a problem, _please_ post.

Ok, I got it to work. I installed Zone Alarm firewall and allowed morpheus to override the firewall settting in that program and now for some reason it works. I also re-installed Morpheus a couple of times, maybe that has something to do with it, who knows. Ohh well, I am happy it works and that I didn't throw away $20.
