Wow another network !!!

There are better gnutella compliant P2P clients @
www.limewire.com
www.bearshare.com/lite

Edit: so you have stolen your BT implementation from who? gIFT (they are GPL), mlDonkey (already bundled with Morpheus), another opensource client (official BT, azureus, tomato, Bitcomet) or a self brew implementation (unlikely)?

So we'll get a better idea of the network real size....

Ultrapeer connections in leaf mode increased, but decreased incrementally when idle
How many UP does Morpheus connect to?

GnucDNA now connects to the same number as Limewire when active (5 or 6?) and then drops to 1 when the client is idle, just like Limewire. Basically, John Marshall changed to to emulate Limewire's UP behavior as closely as possible.

LW connects to 3 UPs then to 1 when the computer is idle for 30 minutes

Great Gnutella knowledge Risky...

I think it might mimic Limewire Pro, which connects to more.

Right on, you guess right! It is the behavior of the Pro version. The Pro version is made to make money for LW and does not help the network with the extra connections. 95% of users are using regular LW, so LW behavior in general is 3 UP and 1 idled.

Now when are you gonna merge emule code into your frankenstein app? What about Direct connect? Openfasttrack? They all have GPL code available. Hey you already leech, what about including more nonsense?

hahahahaha

These changes were made by John Marshall, after he consulted with Limewire folks. If you think Limewire Pro opens too many connections, why don't you go flame them about it.

There are currently no plans to merge emule code into Morpheus, nore any of the other things you mention.

As far as leeching, I seem to recall you always coming up with specific incompatability problems with Morpheus. Each time, you come up with some, they are either already fixed for the next version, or are being worked on. I'm convinced if you did any actual comparative analysis of Morpheus and other clients, you'd find that Morpheus works great most of the time.

Take a look at the BitTorrent integration - I think you'll like what you find.

The difference between you and Gnucleus is the number of network you connect, this is no contest that you win and that sucks for the networks you connect too.

I still don't see Morpheus results while they try to dl from me and pop up as peers and leaves when running UP. I also looked at BT and it WOULD be great if you weren't multinet!!! I mean I can already dl and use the official BT client...

LOL, better luck next time ( as if you didn't had enough chances , a pity)
