New Morpheus Not an Improvement
 

The old Morpheus held a lot more features than this new one does. I'm hoping dearly that because this is merely a 'preview' edition that it's going to get better. The biggest case is the inability to modify the saved files with keywords and the like. I suppose you could try to say that it isn't necessary and that it uses the file name as a keyword, but that would require the horrendously long file names that some things have. Before something had a specific keyword (for those who were kind enough to do so, like I was) even if it wasn't specifically named.

Also it will not save found lists like the old one was. It is extremely frustrating to have to relocate everything. Whether it is there or not is inconsequential, it *was* and it might be again. I would like to be able to know I did find it and not have to remember.

It's connectability is very unreliable and because of the sudden way that it forced everyone off Morpheus to download the new one, the file shares is a mass of confusion. No one is there which puts an even higher load on those who are.

I hope this gets better. Things don't look too good right now.

Sadly, according to what I've heard you're going to have to change your Morpheus client again once they release their new version. The "Preview Edition" apparently isn't really a "preview" of the new Morpheus at all. Music City only moved Morpheus to the Gnutella network as a quick fix because they didn't pay their bills and lost their rights to use the FastTrack software. The new Morpheus is supposedly moving to another completely different network again with the release of their new and improved client.
