I have a bearshare client and got officexp with fp for my
win2kpro. In this installation are 58 corrupted files. The
file extensions range are
numerous .dll .cab .msi .ttf .mof .tlb .olb .hdr .dat .ini .chm .ex
e files. the corruption is the same in all these files. The
following text is in each file.

It repeats in the exact amount of characters long to
make the size of the original uncorrupted file, the size of
the new corrupted file by replacing text. I don't know
what to make of this other than asking if this has ever
been brought up and if there is a simple fix. I am in the
proccess of finding uncorrupted versions of each of
these files and replacing them. I have already found 31 of them and am trying to find the other 27. Please answer back with any info you can
give. Thank you.

I have found all but two files now and still trying for these.

I see no one has responded, but I would like some ideas on this.

Well, I have reconstructed the whole installation, but I thought I would get some sort of an answer here. Sorry to see I didn't.

Sorry for not replying, I was out for several weeks. In general I must say it looks totally strange and I see no reason why on earth this could possibly went this way...
