See, this is what I don't understand. It's okay if someone downloads one mp3 from you, but two is too many? Or is it three? If you have max uploads per user set to 1, then why do you care if they queue a bunch of files? Would you feel that much better if instead of queuing files, they sat in front of the computer and started a new download as soon as the last ends? Where's the difference there?

If it's "QUEUED" then it's not wasting your bandwith, it's waiting until its allowed to download. You don't like people Queuing, then set your max uploads to infinity.

How dare people download 3 files from you! THE HORROR! You've still haven't addressed why people can't download 3 songs from you, without you blocking them.

Newsflash! Not everyone has a piddly modem connection that they want to queue up files one at a time. Nor should they have to. They're not being greedy or lazy by doing it this way, they're being efficient. Live with it.

I'm not going to continue this off topic discussion about my personal file sharing strategy any further.

This forum is for feature requests. I'll let the LimeWire developers implement what they choose and I I'll implement any other features I want since I'm a programmer myself.

I hope that you send the changes you made to the LimeWire developers...

Another possible feature is a setting for maximum simultaneous download from a single IP address. I believe later versions of Napster had a setting for the number of downloads per user. I tend to prefer downloading one file from a person at a time to minimize the time window since I'd rather have one complete file rather than two half files.
