![]() Another Mac User: 3 posts on same topic. See here if you're using OSX: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=31140 So you can make LW read only. You can set up log in for your kids to only have minimal permissions. |

![]() I have completed a version of limewire with the adult filter always on. It is pretty much full proof. There are ways around it but no if you are running content barrier on your mac and have all of the gnutella download pages blocked. Also, you would need to keep your kids from bringing files home from a friends computer at school. You can't download ANY videos or pictures. You can't download ANY gnutella software. The only thing it will download is music, documents, and programs. Please keep in mind that I am a complete beginner and I have NO idea what I am doing. If something goes wrong with the program, I do NOT provide technical support, and I probably couldn't help you anyway. It uses terminal to run, so if you close terminal you will close limewire. Anyone who knows how to convert this to a working mac .app file, please feel free to do so and email me to let me know you did it so I can use it ![]() If you would like a copy of the file please email me at limewirefao@suscom.net AMU |
