We can already search for files, and then we can chat with the host. How about being able to search for someone to chat with.

Currently I have to search for a file that the person I want to chat with might have. It would be great if I could type in hobbies or interests in order to find chat partners.

its interesting how the gnutella network designed for anonymous file sharing is increasingly becoming sub communities of people wishing to share files and communicate with people with interests relating to the files shared.

there are gnutella clients with chat options, xolox and shareaza, but they don't have some of the features of limewire like file previewing. also those programs basically link you to an irc type chat site (but you chat within the program) its not the limewire system of direct peer to peer chat.
