New Feature Requests Your idea for a cool new feature. Or, a LimeWire annoyance that has to get changed. |

![]() ... like the chat channels on Napster ... although, I don't know how hard it would be to do, and how much it would burden down the network. Unless the chat functions were handled by the IRCnetwork and Limewire only provided a portal to IRC, like Mozilla has. Although, I think there are more important features that should be implemented like bringing back the 'Browse Host' function, and a Upload Queue feature. |

![]() just more crazy unrealistic musings i think the gnutella protocol shoud include allowing ultrpeers (if they wish to) to host discussion boards such as this one and chat hosts. of course this would mean a lot of new protocol development and a lot of new coding and the bandwidth going through some of these hosts would be very high. but if this could be done its a whole new net. it would mean you could type in the ip address of a chat / discussion board host and you communicating through limewire and not through www protocols. and yes the browse host, upload queue (and being able to set the interval between attempts to download files) functions are more important. |
