It's hard to believe that 7 programmers in 2 years wouldn't have noticed that there is no ability to cut and paste into text boxes! It's frustrating having to carefully retype things such as host IPs. A Quote:

But there is an ability to cut'n'paste into text boxes! You are using an older version of Java - you should go to the sun website and download the latest version of Java for your OS (the link is on the download section of the LimeWire site). The default version of Java included with LimeWire is 1.3.1 - this does not support cut'n'paste. Version 1.4.0 and later do. Mark |

If you're on a Mac, remember that when you're in Limewire you have to use control-C and control-V to copy and paste. So if you copy something from elsewhere on your Mac with command-C, you have to paste it into LW with control-V. (and vice versa.) Which sucks, of course, and should be fixed, but I think the nice folks at Limewire have bitter fish to fry right now. |
