AMIGA port for Limwire AMIGA users don`t have a reliable port to share mp3s or oggs since closing of Audiogalaxy. We would appreciate a port for Limewire. Would this be possible? I will post your answer to www.amiga-news.de It will be spread worldwide to AMIGA users Thank you very much for your support. |

First question to ask: is there a compliant port of the Java2 platform and a compliant JVM engine on AmigaOS ? If so, it should run LimeWire from the "Other downloads" section (but there will be no installer, just a gzipped TAR archive: you'll need a TAR tool, and gzip, or you could decompress it on a removable media from another OS.) But seriously, are there still now Amiga developers that can support the huge task of porting the Java2 platform from the Communauty sources published by Sun on its web site?
