This may make a lot of ppl mad but if its actually slowin the network down when someone starts limewire for the first time you should have it scan their connection so they can't cheat the network and slow it down by always choosen t3+ or t1,most ppl have cable,modem,or somethin i forget but i know its somewhere in the middle.

LimeWire will always try to verify the speed of the user. When looking at the speed column in your search results you will notice that the speed is sometimes in green. That means that this is the speed verified by the client and not necessarily the one the user claims to have.

Thats cool and all but i mean like not allowing someone with a modem connection to maintain a 12 ultrapeer connection by saying hes a t3+ user.

I don't know for sure but the next version might not allow as many connections as a leaf anymore - not even for T3 connections.
