You can already. Add them to your connections, have them do that to you and then browse each other's files and download what you like.

you could be more specific? I've been unable to duplicate this.

The only place I know where to add an IP is under the Connections screen. When I type an IP there, it immediately tries to establish a "full" Gnutella servent relationship with that IP. If the computer at the other end is in Leaf mode, or is already max'd for regular connectons, then it's rejected.

What's needed, I think, is the ability to type an IP in the Search screen so as to initiate a Browse Host connection rather than a full servent (or Leaf/Ultrapeer) connection.

Hmm...I never noticed that. I guess the people I've done this with are always UP with open slots. Yes, i'd agree, there needs to be way to type in an IP to initiate a browse host command.
