![]() Seems like every time someone opens limewire, it tells us the "save directory is invalid" choose another. Using WXP Home, and each kid has their own user account. Seemed to work fine until we started upgrading to more recent versions. Until we got the message saying if you didn't upgrade you couldn't search anymore we kept 2.31 and all was well. We choose or create a new save directory and works for that session, then next time **** around with it for half an hour to get it working again. Even went so far as dumping the Pro version and checking out the freeware. Same story. Got to be a simple explanation that I'm missing. Thanks |

![]() I know there is a peculiarity of the latest Windows Mediaplayer which will set the permissions of a folder to read-only whenever the files of that folder are added to its playlist. So if you are using that, it might be the cause of your problem. In any case you should always check the permissions of the save directory if you encounter that message. |
