Unhappy Make magnet URLs work on linux/unix

Is there a way to make this feature work under linux or unix LimeWire?

I cant get the "Bitzi Lookup" feature to work nor can I click bitzi tickets and get them to start downloading in LW. How can this be made to work?

Yeah sure there is. Run LimeWire with the magnet link as command line parameter.
If there is already another instance of LimeWire running the magnet link will be passed to the running LimeWire process and no other instance of LimeWire will be started. If LimeWire is not running yet, LimeWire will start and add the magnet link to the downloads.

Hey! That worked well! Where is this documented? are there other neat things you can do from the command line that I dont know about?

BTW, for anyone else interested in using this, use "runLime.sh magnet:......" , not LimeWire or LimeWire.jar, like I did on my first 2 attempts.

That's the only command line parameter LimeWire takes, AFAIK.

Ok, so my "new" feature request then, is for Bitzi Lookups and Magnet URLs to function under Linux/Unix.

I'm trying to get magnet links to work in Firefox using the mozex extension, but I can't even get magnet links to work at all. I'm using LimeWire 3.8.10 on a Fedora Core 1 box. Are magnet links working for other people?

[charles@localhost LimeWire]$ ./runLime.sh magnet:?xt=urn:sha1:K5WUDXIE3YMOYZ5ZCS3WJ5UICQU75O OO&dn=pink_theme.lwtp&xs=http://64.61.25.138:6346/uri-res/N2R?urn:sha1:K5WUDXIE3YMOYZ5ZCS3WJ5UICQU75OOO

If you are running the latest limewire version (3.9.4 beta) try copying the link. LimeWire will listen for magnet links in the clipboard.
