![]() i want to suggest a feature for limewire which indicates to the potential downloader the average upload speed of the peer they wish to download from. i am not sure, however, whether this is easily implemented. I have found that downloading involves a fair share of guess work about the uploaders. the quality tab, and the connection speed tab merely give a vague idea about possible download/upload speeds and success. even better would be an index of the current upload speed of a peer. I vary my own upload speed quite a bit through the day, and allow the entire bandwidth for upload when not using the computer for other online stuff. i feel that more peers could make good use of this knowledge. best regards, ssiemson71 |
