Download Priority Setting Say you have several older downloads that have been progressing slowly due to "Awaiting Sources" then you start a new download that you would rather have finish first. But, the older downloads are still draggin a&&!! You don't want to cancel the downloads but you don't want to wait for them either. Wouldn't it be kewl if you could set priorities for each file you are downloading? Just a thought. |
The older downloads in "Awaiting Sources" mode don't decrease the speed for your new downloaders. They merely occupy system memory. |
True But, when the older downloads start again... you can't disable them to allow a more important download to start without actually cancelling the older download. |
4.8.1 Are we able to manually prioritize, yet? OOPS...please disregard. I found my answer: Taken from a Tip of the Day You can tell LimeWire which downloads to start next. Right-click on the column headers in the download area and check the 'Priority' column. Select the download you want to start next and click the up arrow until it's at the top! ...courtesy of default_117 in Feature Requests forum Thanks, jroack:D |
