Modifying the window

I use a 12" iBook and it would be nice to be able to eliminate some of the columns that I don't use. Such as 'CHAT' and perhaps even 'QUALITY'; I have already set my limits to 4 star downloads so I don't need to see this information.

Right-click or rather command-click on the row with the column titles. That should open a popup menu where you can choose which columns to display.
