New Feature Requests Your idea for a cool new feature. Or, a LimeWire annoyance that has to get changed. |

![]() Please: Stop automatically jumping to the search page when selecting from the incomplete file—usually if I’m in the incomplete file I’m restarting more than one download and it is annoying that it jumps to the search page each time which brings me to a solution or another request. Do away with highlighting selection and put a check box in front of the items. That way we could achieve multiple actions with a single button section. Thank you, DG Last edited by Duh George; June 24th, 2004 at 09:44 AM. |

![]() It would be great if files could be sorted so, that files I already have get sorted to the bottom. (either by clicking a column or by setting a preference... maybe also by sorting according to file type or in some other way I don't think of at the moment)

![]() You can select multiple rows in all tables (search, download, upload) except the library by hitting 'ctrl' and selecting another row. On OSX, since the standard is holding the command key (instead of ctrl), versions 4.1+ of LimeWire will also select multiple rows if command is pressed. Support for selecting rows this way in the library is tentatively planned for 4.1. You can select multiple rows in all tables (including the library) by selecting one row, keeping the mouse pressed, and dragging it down to further rows. You can also select multiple rows (all rows between the two) by selecting one row, pressing and holding shift, and then selecting a second row. Almost actions (download, resume, launch, etc...) will apply to every selected row. If there are some that do not, let us know and we'll fix them. You can sort search results by 'files I have', 'files I'm downloading', 'files I've partially downloaded' by clicking the quality column (the column with the stars, or the various icons indicating if the file is downloading, saved or incomplete). You can sort by extension by clicking the 'type' column. You can sort by any column by clicking on that column. Last edited by sberlin; June 27th, 2004 at 06:23 PM. |

![]() Add search results for files to the download mesh (or test them, then add them). Add results from one search to all searches, whre they fit.

![]() 7/8/04 I would like to request that multiple filter lists for keywords be available. That way one can change lists according to the type of search one wants to do. I would also like to be able to order/sort the keyword filter lists. This would make manageing such lists easier. It would be nice if these filter lists could be sellected directly from the search pane/window. It would also be nice if one could have a place on the search pane/window to enter keywords to exclude just for that search. A way to enter a search for an exact phrase (such as enclosed in "") would improve the power of searching. Thanks, Doyle |

![]() If I'm understanding things correctly here, ANYONE can "Browse Hosts" on MY computer? And see all the files that I've got in the "Shared" folder on this computer? Can you not make it to where other users can NOT browse everything you've got (like KL)? Or is this what the "Trusted User/Sharer" thing is supposed to accomplish? Seems kind of nuts to let anyone and everyone have access to a list of everything you've got. Pete |

![]() It would be nice if I never saw a “upload speed 0kb” again. ![]() I have an idea to prevent this: ![]() lets say, I set my “upload Bandwidth” at 40kb’s, my “Max Upload Slots” set at 40(users). Ok that’s a lot of users, but I could do it right? So assume that 40 users actually try to upload from me, they are now downloading at 1kb. If I am the only user sharing this file, and it’s a decent size file, that’s going to take way to long, and I doubt its going to be successful. So if there was a ratio added to connect these user defined features, so that the min speed any one user might download from would be, say 5kb or so, that would be great. |
