New Feature Requests Your idea for a cool new feature. Or, a LimeWire annoyance that has to get changed. |

I think there should be a different way of putting downloads into folders. Instead of just selecting one download folder You should be able to select different ones for different files types. eg. At the moment my download folder is E:/downloads When I download something I then have to move it to the corect folder E:/music etc I think we should be able to choose where music type files go (E:/music), movie files (E:/Movies) etc. I think I explained that to a understandable level. I think Limewire should be able to handle Torrents as well. Last edited by Fluffytme; July 11th, 2006 at 11:42 AM. |

not sure if this is allready somewhere in this thread or other threads. I don't have the time to look through all the pages, but recently LimeWire's been inaccurately loading my incompleted downloads list on restart (it's missing a munch of the files that are clearly in the incomplete directory and were downloading fine last time I was running). Maybe an option for manually forcing the software to accept incomplete files instead of relying on the dat or bak files (which are probably what's corrupted upon exit) is in order? (as later versions of WinMX had) |

Limewire: Reboot and resume download 1. I have just tried out Limewire for the first time and while the results appear significantly faster, I am wondering why Limewire will not allow you to reboot your system and then resume downloads where you left off before the reboot. It APPEARS (??) to start the download/s all over again. 2. What about the idea of incorporating a graphical bandwith/speed analysis like eDonkey and Shareaza into the operating shell of Limewire. This would allow you to monitor the real-time bandwith/speed of downloads/uploads. The present indication of the progress of downloads and uploads is a bit short on detail as well. Other than that, congratulations to Limewire authors! ZL2ROB_Rob. Email vk7kob@quik.co.nz |
