New Feature Requests Your idea for a cool new feature. Or, a LimeWire annoyance that has to get changed. |

![]() in the big picture, those that want your IP would be able to get it even if it wasn't obviously displayed...unless as LOTR noted you use a socks5 proxy...

![]() Not sure if it's available, but I would like to somehow have the option to disable or restrict some of the search. Either via a setting or password protected by a valid administrator. I can find practically anything with LW, but I do not want my child to get full access to it. I only want him to find things such as documents and music. No programs, images or videos. I limewire installed on one PC, but would like to install it on a second PC which is mostly used by my son and I don't want him having full access to the search in limewire. I would also like to restrict my copy just in case he's using it. |

![]() You know Windwos, I like your idea, that and being able to save your favourite search (keyword) criteria. However, if your favourite "Host" changes his IP address, for whatever reason, you would no longer be able to find and/or search your host, but it still is a good idea. UK Bob |

![]() When searching video files (especially newer movies) the search results in massive amounts of auto generated junk files that match existing good files in their size. I keep hoping to find some pattern to the hosts or the 32 character code identifying these files (ya, I don't have a good technical name for the code thingy...bitprint?). Anyway, maybe someone with a better understanding of this system could figure out a clever way to identify these fake file generators and filter them out from results. I'm sure my idea isn't original, and perhaps not even useful; but I just keep thinking that overpeers, mediasentry, and mediadefender must have some recognizable pattern and if their results could be prevented or retaliated against in some way, the utility of limewire would be greatly increased. |

![]() I would like to be able to search on Type, where Type could be mp3 or wma or whatever. As my Search/Type only lists: Audiobook, Other, Song or Speech (none of which show up in any of my search results). If these choices are valid, they are labeled incorrectly. When I input a search query criteria, I expect it to be labeled the same as it's respective field name. And the choices in that search option should be reflected in the respective query field results. |

![]() i have a little feature request. A filter for movies so you don't have the 277,0 Kb fake results anymore. i sujest a filter for minimum size. If we search for something then you can select files that are greater than 600 Megabytes for movies or so. |
