INFO button
 

I think that Limewire should have an INFO button where you can type in a song/artist and it will give you information from the internet like who sings the song/what songs the artist sings.

There's already services on the net for these purposes: Find Lyrics , & Song Names , & Find Artist/Song Names. Particular the latter.

LW also has the Bitzi lookup enabled (control-click/rclick for info)

I don't think we should dismiss this request.

Why not integrate these services into the LimeWire interface, so users can query those pages from LimeWire.

This benefits both those pages and LimeWire, because LimeWire gets more user-friendly and the pages get more visitors.

Yes, I'd like to see more lookups in addition to Bitzi.

I think the info button is a good idea, and would like to be able to set the sites to search via the preferences.

(I don't think that bundling a http browser is going to work better than just passing the request to the user's default browser. Wouldn't that be far more problematic than the built-in music player?)

@Stief: I fully agree: We don't need to bundle the http-browser. Passing the request to the browser should suffice and allow Users to use a browser of their choice.
