Cool suggestions First off, I think Limewire is doing an excellent job of trying to innovate gnutella. Cheers to the LimeWire team! Ok so heres my two cents for ideas:
1. How bout the ability to have a hotlist. This is a great way to facilitate file searching and find content u like.
2. Encryption. This is becoming increasingly important with the RIAA s attempts to monitor and pursue gnutella users.
3. A fix for those annoying limewire freezes/interuptions. What are they caused by anyways?
4.Autoconnect to hosts that tend to have the greatest amount of users, bandwidth, etc.
5.Create chat channels with some type of chat service.
6. list file #s next to the IP adress of a host. Also include the chat rooms they have joined. That way people with similar interests could chat and swap.
Good luck limeWire. If the gnutella network could become less fragmented more files could be swapped and more people would be attracted to it. |
