Prioritizing download threads? Hi guys Great work with Limewire!!! I wonder if we could also have a prioritize thread option... whereby we could choose to give more bandwidth/priority to one thread than the others... It would be really gr8 considering the benifits. |
Unless I'm mistaken, I think the new beta 4.1.8 already has this (using Ctrl+click on mac I don't know about pc), which gives a priority sorting list & column in the dwnld pane. As suggsted I know little about it & cannot expand any more at this point. The beta also has pause dwnlds option. |
This might help (my knowledge of windows is limited): http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=29573 |
Agree A listing of download priorities is nice, but there is no ability to boost a more urgent download to the top of the queue short of killing all of the other downloads with higher priority. Unfortunately, when a download is killed, so is the downloaded portion of the file. OOPS...please disregard. I found my answer: Taken from a Tip of the Day You can tell LimeWire which downloads to start next. Right-click on the column headers in the download area and check the 'Priority' column. Select the download you want to start next and click the up arrow until it's at the top! ...courtesy of default_117 in Feature Requests forum Thanks, jroack:D |
