 Suggestion - Download from multiple hosts simultaneously From the FAQ: "LimeWire will try all the locations one after the other". I would have an even better chance at succeeding if LW would download from multiple hosts simultaneously. Furthermore, I would use the various hosts' download slots for a shorter period. The drawback of course would be that I would be using the download slots on a bunch of hosts which would ostensibly starve other users. However, if you implement the "share-partial downloads" suggestion I made separately (http://users.ev1.net/~eweb/partial-d...d-proposal.htm), then this problem would be moot. -- Early  |
