Paste Text String into Search Many times I would have liked to paste a text string into a LimeWire seach. Particularly when a foreign language inflection is needed. i.e. Bébés or LeÇon. This would be a very great help for us users. |
Cut n Paste - Mac OS X This is true in Mac OS X. No edit menu, no CTRL-X or CTRL-V etc... How about it Lime Wire? |
It works fine for me on OSX to paste search strings. That's what I really liked about LW 4. In LW 2 I used previously you couldn't copy & paste into the search box. You CAN also do it on windows!!! You may need to have the particular font or language enabled on your system I don't know. (Certainly on OSX you don't need the language enabled to paste that particular language! Whatever it is!) |
Future versions of LimeWire will show the normal right-click menus on text areas and whatnot to make it more obvious you can use cut/paste. |
yay, i was JUST about to post this as a feature request untill i saw this. |
FYI -- this is now in the development version. The next version (either 4.4.4 or 4.5.0, no clue what we're planning right now) will contain the right-click menu. |
