Search Filters & perm sort setting
 

Not sure why this feature isn't on limewire, it's an age old feature but i'd like to have more control of my searches in that only display the files i want by searching for files over a certain size like i saw recently in Ares. If I remember right the only Gnutella program years ago had this feature. It's typical to do a file search and find 500 files but only 5 be anything remotely close to what you'd want.

Also I'd like to see a setting (in options) where you can set a default sort setting in searches. I get very tired of having to click on size twice everytime I do a search.

These are just two very simple features that I think would make Limewire a much more user friendly program and not cater to the advert people.

That's all nice. Also, I'd like to see better filtration in the other aspects of search. When I search for the artist 'Rhapsody' I don't get a single result of what I want, but I do get about 10,000 Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen). Not to knock on Queen or anything, I already have this file.

So essentially, what I'd like to see is maybe something like a checkbox in the search window to the effect of "force strict results" that would only let things through that had what I entered into the field in that category. I understand and appreciate why Limewire runs on a loose-search, but still, this is ridiculous.

Another thing: I don't think Limewire's filtration technology is that good. I've blacklisted every crappy artist under the sun (okay, nowhere near every, but about 150 or so) and still get Red Hot Chili Peppers, Puff Daddy, Celine Dion, and Blink 182 in my searches.
