How to get easy setup : Here is a feature request that could dramatically ease the user setup process :
Why not to provide a JNLP (aka JavaWebStart) compliant link for LimeWire ???
It's easy to do and should require few skills .... http://www.geocities.com/vamp201/
This will also help into providing a cross-platform auto-update feature as JNLP is available on Linux/Windows/MacOSX etc ...
An other request is to migrate to Java2SE ... doing so will decrease the size of the project as it use the collection framework (that is already embed in the J2SE distro).
Such a job can be done within a single click using java package migration tools (such tools wer used by early swing adopters).
Just imagine : a single click on the web and limewire install/update and launch ... don't worry, be JNLP !
