Delete/Disable "Delete Incomplete Files" I thought it was a bug and reported it several times. Why in the heck would anyone add such a feature is beyond me, and why it would default to "7 days" is even more bizarre. I've had numerous downloads that I'd been working on for weeks that would suddenly go from "nearly complete" to "0%" for no apparent reason. Can you imagine the agony of seeing a 98% complete 700MB file that you've been collecting bit by bit for weeks, suddenly reduced to zero for no reason? Who was the idiot that thought this was a good idea??? I found the setting in LW/Tools and jacked it up to "99999" days, but there is no obvious way to disable it... WHICH SHOULD BE THE DEFAULT (if it should even be there at all! This "feature" doesn't even seem to work anyway, since the default is "7" days, but my incomplete downloads were not disappearing until they were weeks old! My "New Feature" recommendation then is for you to please DELETE THIS ONE, or at the very least, add a checkbox to disable it (which should be the default setting). |
