XP feature compatability
 

For LimeWire I share my "My Documents" folder and everything in it but sometimes I have personal files in there I do not wish to share but really loathe having to put them elsewhere when I feel thats where the file belongs! (im a neat freak) I tried hiding them yet to no avail they are still being showed as a shared item in my LimeWire. :mad:

Can LimeWire recognize these hidden files and know not to share them on the network?

Or does anyone have any other suggestions??

The new beta 4.9 allows you to be able to select or deselect folders & files to share. ie: can select to not share a particular file by right-clicking (control-click for macosx) the individual file in the Library window.

Download the LimeWire 4.9 beta. It includes new library features that let you mark individual files are "not shared" or "shared", among a bunch of other features.
