New Feature Requests Your idea for a cool new feature. Or, a LimeWire annoyance that has to get changed. |

![]() I do not profess to be an expert of any kind when it comes to software. As a user of Limewire I would like to see a feature added which would save a lot of time downloading. Currently, if for some reason the computer has to reboot (power failure, auto system reboot, etc) we lose all incomplete downloads. Can you incorporate a feature that can save the download at it's current point and resume once Limewire is restarted. This feature is in other "like" programs eg. eDonkey2000 and BitComet. If this is already included in Limewire I may be missing the boat as how to activate it. ![]() |

![]() You know, I only thought that servers had auto-reboot, not PCs. Auto-reboot is primarily used to stabilise Win NT/2000 servers, after they have been running 7 days, and to free up virtual memory. Unless a PC could sense when it was becoming unstable (not sure if such a facility exist) why would it need auto-reboot? UK Bob |
