Bandwidth adjust against system clock Hi, This may already exists, but I'd like to be able to set LimeWire to use a specific amount of bandwidth at a particular time of day, e.g. use 100% 2am -> 7am, then 30% for the rest of the time. Cheers Nick |
You can adjust your bandwidth whenever, but you'll have to do it manually. You can't set LW to adjust automatically. Tools > options > downloads & you can change d/l bandwidth. Tools > options > uploads > basic to change upload bandwidth. Apply to save changes. |
Hi, What I want is a kind of scheduler that will adjust the bandwidth throttle automatically dependant on what time of day it is. I'm on a home LAN and my housemates tend to get up before me. If they need to get online before I get up, they'll be stymied if I still have limewire's bandwidth on 100% overnight and it's still before I've got out of bed and turned it down to something more sensible. Is this making sense? Nick |
