Add a search menu option for File Format (.mp3, .avi, .mov, etc.), as a multiple choice / multiple selection drop down menu would be great. If you don't want .swf or .mov or .sit files cluttering your search just select the file types you do want.

Review, edit or just scrap the genre search selection. Most listings are mislabled anyway, and most of the catagories are rather vaugue. THe only other option would be to enforce some kind of file name format convention, like artist-title-album-year or title-star-director-studio. This would also help end the clutter of those 4000 character file names that resemble an adress for a phony porn site, filled with jumbles of totally unrelated words, names or phrases. And as a bonus a file naming convention would let those other filters, like language, studio or director work too. I know . . . it's silly if not impossible to expect such cooperation, so just scrap this useless button.

A Pet Peeve:

If you're not sure what the title of the song really is or you're confused as to who the artist is please don't share the file. There is enough confusion already. This will also help people find the songs and the different recordings of the song they're looking for.

if you add e.g. .mp3 after searchphrase you get .mp3

Also you can add fileextensions to your keywordfilter like .mov or .swf
