 The google system works pretty well, and incidentally most of the sites you go to are publishing lyrics illegally, although I hear Gracenote are publishing lyrics legally, now or soon. Limewire developers should concentrate on building a good p2p client, and not adding in features readily available elsewhere. Additionally ...Limewire is developed as a client for transferring legitimate files and I'm not to sure what you are suggesting is exactly within the objectives of Limewire development.
