New Feature Requests Your idea for a cool new feature. Or, a LimeWire annoyance that has to get changed. |

Automatic connect/disconnect at set times Forgive me if this one has been requested, but what I'd really like in Limewire is the option to disconnect and connect at predetermined times. I'd like to leave Limewire on the whole time to share my files but the ISP I'm using limits my file downloads/uploads during the day and gives me 10 times that amount during the night. Hence I'd like to set Limewire to connect during the night only. If it's also possible to pause downloads on disconnection and select which files to download while disconnected, then restart/activate downloads on re-connect that would also be handy. Many thanks... |

same fate... I live in Australia and unfortunately suffer a similar fate. I have 40gb between 8am and midnight (peak), and 40gb offpeak. Wich is the reason that bought me to this forum... atm. I leave a timer that sits between my modems power supply and the power outlet. wich bassicaly cuts my modems power supply when my download quota is low (always peak time) and turns it back on at midnight whilst i am in bed. While this works. sometimes LW doesn't connect back onto the network. Any help or suggestions would be great.... |

Automatic and timed connect/disconnect is a must I live in Pakistan, internet packages are available which are giving very low or some time zero price at nights. I want that internet be connected on said times and disconnected at said times. And after automatic start, LW start downloading files in the tray and refresh there status. Such features i found in FlashGet which is very useful for downloading files with convenience. Hafeez |
