I think it would awsome if you could organize the music into different folders for different genres or whatever one may wish to do. It would also be nice to be able to search for the name of the song in your own playlist. There should also be a tab for the date the song was downloaded so someone can search their most recent downloads. I hope these requests will be considered on future versions. Thank you very much.

If you are using Windows (and probably Mac too) all these options are there. Just not in Limewire. Highlight a file in your shared library and press explore, then the folder containing your downloaded files will appear. In there you can organise, see last date modified and everything else in your request.

In Limewire Tools-->Options-->Saving you have the choice to specify which folder you want specific filetypes to be stored (not by genre though)

Maybe having some of these things in Limewire would be handy, but there are much more needed options that need looking into right away.

Using a player like iTunes (which I use, There are plenty of others), You can sort songs by almost anytyhing you choose. also you can make multiple playlists, search for songs containing certain words etc. etc. It will also rip and burn www.apple.com

Like Sleepless said, Limewire has far more pressing priorities in developing a p2p client, and the player that is used was a gift, and not a perfect one

The LW Beta out at the moment does allow you to search your shared files. I've never used the option as of yet.
