Library by Date

Can anyone help? why is it that you can't sort library by most recent date? you can sort by size, but not when file was downloaded,is there a reason?
Also if you cancel a download it goes back into incomplete folder and can be hard to spot ! why cant you cancel and /or delete at same time?
Hope all's well you guys and girls, nice to return,
Newbee2:)

You can sort by date. Right-click (control-click) the column headers in the Library to turn on the "Last Modified" column.

Sorry Steif, just tried the '' Last modified '' suggestion in Library , and it isn't an option?? running 4.12.11 Pro options are, Icon,Name,Size,Type, Path,Uploads,Hits,Locations,License there are more options,Stripe rows,Sort automatically or Extended tooltips I cant seem to find ''Last Modified''
all the best, fingers crossed, I'm missing something !

You're right newbee--sorry. I thought I'd checked the regular 4.12.11 release, but it turned out to be an older beta. Took a while to install the 4.12, but sure enough, no "last modified" as you found.

Anyways, the feature is in both the 4.13.2 and 3 betas.

The separation of the delete function between the download pane and the Library is actually something quite useful, since you can clear a download, but later resume it from the Library's Incomplete folder. At the end of most session, I like to delete all the 0KB files in the incomplete anyway and usually all the others too. Otherwise they tend to pile up and slow down LW it seems.

Cheers.

Thanks very much, only reason havn't tried new beta, is I was afraid of losing some old downloads (Incompletes) when installing beta,
probably risk it soon though
Thanks again,

That's a sensible caution.

Cheers
