![]() This feature request is simple: wait a while before sharing a downloaded file, say half an hour. That would give me the time to check the integrity of the file, and the time to delete it if it's not okay, thereby hindering the further spread of the problematic file through the network. |

![]() Might I climb up on the old soap box again... And DEMAND to know why it is not easy to disable sharing of downloads ? Any client that does not permit (AND ENCOURAGE) not sharing from the default downloads folder is grossly irresponsible and simply contributes to the ever-growing mass of garbage and diallers that are on the network. It is fundamentally STUPID to maintain a system where non-vetted material is immediately offered to the network. This is one of THE BIG PROBLEMS of p2p. Screw a time delay option as any priority for now... Later... Later it's a good idea ! But, make the min time 1 week !!!!!!!! For the super-normal users out there !

![]() That sounds a bit excessive, doesn't it? Normally, when a music download finishes you'll enqueue it in your favourite media player. Usually the list of files still to be played is less than five. 5 * 3 min = 15 min. Add a safe margin, and half an hour doesn't seem like a bad idea, does it? |

![]() That would definately be to short in my situation; see calculation above. Since everyone apparently needs a different waiting time, perhaps this should be a configuration option. |
