Searching, Narrowing Searches, Bringing only results I request

I'm a new member

I would like to see/know:

1) How to find info about new feature requests on this forum (Like a clear single list of all outstanding request.) Non-savvy forum users (me) do not find digging through threads an easy way to get info.

2) Why are requests for features (and votes) anywhere but on this forum? (I'm Not a Developer).

Software:
3) Searches narrowed to bring me only files with all of the words I requested. e.g. Artist = [Edit] should never bring me pranked_by_Bill_Gates. I didn't request that. Also, I would never stop .wma files because I like them and some of my more obscure music can only be found as .wma's.

4) Find within text of search results. Try doing a search for an [Edit] song sometime when you'd like something off the beaten path...

5) Sort results by multiple columns. I'm getting to know where the best results will be, but sometimes I'd prefer to just make the cream rise to the top.

I pretty much agree with all your points. In particular, LimeWire needs a proper bug / feature request tracker, like most other projects. It make life for both us feature requesters and the developers a lot easier.
I also wholeheartedly agree with point three. It's very annoying how sometimes stuff will turn up that doesn't contain the keywords you entered.

Or how about when you search for a video and say [Edit] then in year type 2007 and it cancels the keywords [Edit] and gives you every movie marked as 2007. Thats realy annoying cause with some sequels the only way to search is by year as they havethe same or similar names.

I ask for specific albums from specific artists. I do NOT want to see everything that the group did. Same thing if I ask for just a title or just an album name. Do NOT show me stuff unless it SHOWS those exact parameters. I agree about when I ask for music I do not want to see pranked Bill Gates garbage.
