requests for Mac OS Classic and OS X Version of LimeWire

First of all i want the folka at LimeWire to know that they are doing one heck of a job keep it up and i will go Pro.

these are some the requests that i have if your not already working on them.

1) Rerun Search Button: if i were to look up "hockey" and say 50 results came up, later on when more hosts are connected to the network i could just select the "hockey" tab in the search window and hit the Rerun Search Button and it would update my list, adding the new results with the ones i already had.

2) Have the option of downloading MP3's as Itunes Files/quicktime files ( IN the new Version 2.2.1 it downloades them as Real player files where as in the older version it downloaded them as iTunes Files. I prefer Itunes as In the old version.

3) Incomplete Files: how about a Resume Button in the library tab in the incomplete folder area. what this would allow is for the user to select any files that were incomplete and hit the Resume button and limewire would do one of two things automatically. First it could search for the file and dis play the results in the Search window or Second it could search for the file in the background and just start downloading the file.

4) Also when searching for Mp3, Mpg, Jpg etc.... wouldn't it be better if all the result were catagorized by type. for example MP3 first then Mpg and then Jpg's etc...

5) The settings should only have to be set once, i found that i have to change my settings every time i open limwire.

6) how about a built in mp3 player for us folks that still use the Classic Mac OS. this would be very helpful because we could listen to our music while in limewire and not have any other App. running the back. i can also listen to the files and make sure that they are of good quality and delete them right there if they are not

thanks for the consideration and once again keep up the good work

If you command-click a search tab there is an option to research. For type grouping, clicking on the column headings should resort the results. To keep your settings saved, after doing them close LimeWire by clicking the close box in the window and not File:Quit.
