Download annoyance
 

I've been using Limewire a while and met this issue once before, but it was corrected. Now that same issue has resurfaced and is causing me a great deal of annoyance. I try to download a particular song and it doesn't play all the way through, despite the download meter saying 100% has been downloaded. This was fixed once before, now I'm asking if it can be fixed again so I can go back to enjoying the song I like? Thanks.

To be Honest with you, you Won't get Any response from the LW devs here. I will give you the site link that May help you out, but Don't count on it. There are a few LW devs that may or maynot respond to you here.

It sounds like you may be experiancing either Fake or Corrupt files and if this is the case, LW wouldn't be able to help you anyway. That would be a Network Issue.

Hmmm...well I can tell you to Absolutly Stay away from Files that are 3462kb's and 5611kb's. These are Known Viruses, Fakes, or Corrupt.

I don't use LW any longer so all I can advise here is to use the Forum Search Function to help solve this issue. I still think the Problems you are experiencing are do to Bad Files. I hope that you are Scanning EVERYTHING that you are D/Ling Before you Open them. The Network is Flooded with Fakes, Worms, Viruses, and Corrupt Files in an attempt to deter Filesharing. :(:mad:

these are most likely fake files...if you really think this is a fault of LW then why not give Phex a spin?
