LimeWire is only a piece of software for Peer-to-Peer file-sharing. "Alerting Limewire" is therefore not possible. In order to keep p-p file-sharing free, there cannot be any central registry, server, etc. We can do what we need to protect ourselves, or we can pay someone else to guarantee our safe downloading. That's why some use Netflix. The best thing LW developers could do was to include the link to Bitzi (thank you LW Dvlps).
Also, some people don't know that a file in their Shared folder is bogus, especially if they've recently downloaded it. Would you have them banned?
At least you're trying to help by thinking of ways to make improvements. 'Tis better to have thoughts that need refinement, than to have no thoughts at all. |
