Often, you talk to someone on chat, and discover that someone has a file the other wants. It is annoying and far from 100% effective to simply search for the file and try to download from them. It would be nice if there were a way to either set up a connection through chat, or more easily give a preference of some sort to a given IP. 'Let w.x.y.z connect even if I'm full, and give them as much bandwidth as they want'. This would enable more direct sharing, and a stronger incentive to share.

THE MSN MESSENGER AND THE YAHOO MESSENGER HAVE CHAT AND E-MAILING IN THEM ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT THE PERSON YOU ARE CHATING WITH IN TO YOUR BUDDY LIST AND YOU CAN SEND FILES TO THEM RIGHT FROM THE PROGRAM

I'm entirely aware that IM programs can send files and you can use an attachment to email. Maybe I don't want to tell some random person my IM name or email address, maybe they use a different IM than I do. The whole point is being able to do it within LimeWire.

And please don't shout, its rather annoying.
