updating version query???

Hi, my name is Karen and currently have limewire basic v4.12.15 and I noticed on limewire.com that there is a new version available (v4.14.6). Can up update to that version without wiping my two daughters saved library audio files. They're 17 ad 14 and will kill me if I wipe their songs!!!

Unless there is a glitch, the new LW will install over the old version without any problems. Whenever I upgrade my LW that is exactly what I do, install the new over the old (I use the offline installer not the "recommended").

Besides: You stumbled into the Phex Forum with your question, which also is a Gnutella p2p Program, but isn't LimeWire.

Maybe that had a reason, and you should give Phex a try...
