I'm a little bit confused. Where do you get the I.P. address from the network tab? Here is what I did. My I.P. address is 192.168.0.136, which is a static I.P. address. The port i'm listening to is 13241. So what I've done was to type in 192.168.0.136:13241. The page won't stop loading. Basically it just kept showing that its loading but it never finishes.

I noticed something at the bottom left hand corner of the phex window, whilst being on the gnutella net tab, there's this part where it says my address : 127.0.0.1:13241. I tried entered that into firefox and it was the same thing. Loading but never stopped loading.

What should i do next?

That gives me something:
Your Phex doesn't seem to get a connection _out_, because it can't determine its own IP address (normally other clients answer to give it an address).

How many files do you share? (Please _don't_ tell me which ones, just the approximated number of files - I ask because at least 127.0.0.1:your_port should show up, except if you have a local firewall running, like norton or the Windows Firewall, for example).

Do you see red hosts appear and disappear in the Phex Network tab?

If yes, Phex is trying to connect.
If not, could you try if you see them when you hit the connect icon at the upper left corner of the Phex window?

Hi there all,
I have the same problem, the connection is 0. I'm behind the D-Link router but seems this is not the issue coz I don't have problem with other Gnutella clients.
The connection status is error, connect timed out.
My address written 127.0.0.1:40209.
Have the version 3.2.
I really appreciate it.
Thanks.

Who is your Internet Service Provider (ISP) ?
Sounds to me like your connection ports are blocked. Have you checked both your software firewall to allow exception for Phex? Is your D-Link port forwarded or running under UPnP?

http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ if it times out then it means that port 6346 is blocked, either by your router or by your ISP. Options are to connecting to a higher untaken port such as one between 49152 to 65535.

Dear Lord of The Ring,
Just noticed that there's changing on my IP address. It was 127.0.0.1, now it's different. But the port number still the same.
