my Mac OS X froze while using phex

My Mac has never hung before. l was advised to update Java because phex runs on Java. I looked into it, but found out that my Java is the latest version, so it seems that this is a possibility using phex.

Once was enough. Since the machine was totally unresponsive, l finally disconnected from the Internet, and THEN regained control after restarting. Whew!
