Bug? Ok
I used the force IP to feature in Newtella (running on a windows box) to
set the IP to the same as the firewall.. everything worked fine until my Linux box ( this one here I use as my desktop box) ran it's nightly cron jobs.. After that some how it was seeing two 192.168.1.1(s) and ceased to communicate with any other box on the LAN or on the Web. The forcing the Newtella box to the same IP as the firewall makes it run better, but it shoulod be masqed to any other box on the network. The Firewall is running linux too.. Is this a bug?
I would post this to the Newtella site but apperently they don't care enought to keep their forums running well as I have not been able to post to then and they do not answer their email either. Are they going ****up.com? |
