Exclamation Somebody please tell me how this thing works

I've read the FAQ, tutorial, wrote emails, etc., yet I still haven't found a way to get any search results back when i search for something. I can wait for some 10 odd minutes and not get anything back, but then i look on the upload section, and there are a million people downloading from me. How do I need to search for mp3's and stuff? Is this the way I should put info in the search field "artist-song.mp3"? or is that wrong. somebody please reply. thanks.

I would hope you've had some success by now (I see your post is a few days ago). I just started using the Newt after about a week of frustration using other SW. Set your max # of Connections right up to 50, you'll start getting results right away.

I had the problem you were having...I even put in some obvious search keyword and it never return anything. So I changed my 'listen port' in Advanced Configurtion from the default to '8080' and it was all good after that. Results were flying in.
