How Do I Work This, Please Send Help Fast.

I downloaded the software and none of my searches return results. I tried different ports, 6347, 8080, but this did not work either, and each time I try to add a connection in the connection window one flashes on the screen for a couple of seconds and then disappears. Help me please.

I am in EXACTLY the same predicament. Also took the same steps. Also don't know what the host cache is or how to gain its approval. HELP!

ohhh, but why doesn't it just connect automatically like napster?

Because Napster is centralized while Gnutella is decentralized.
