Ripped off

I paid for and downloaded a version of Limewire Pro for Windows. I used it once and it completely crashed my computer. It took hours to get rid of the virus. I never used my "Paid for" version or any other version of limewire again.

Today, I get an email from limewire telling me they have a virus protection version of limewire, but I have to pay for it again. This is not an acceptable solution. I need someone from limewire to get me a the latest version of limewire with virus protection to "replace" the mess they gave me for the money I paid.

LOL Limewire is Virus, Maleware, Spyware, and Spam Free. The program didn't infect your system, you did. Should have done a little research before hand. The Gnutella Network is open source, meaning anybody and their dog can upload anything, including all of the Nasties.

Limewire is in the business to make money, not give you a safety net. It's the responsibility of the end user to figure out how to safely download copyrighted material.

To expect an intelligent and helpful answer here is too much to ask. Sure, limewire does not have any viruses. The virus is in the file that one downloads through limewire. Laugh at me all you want. I get the same kind of careless response from the fool called "lord of the rings" who claims to be an administrator. Should have known that someone who is from a fantasy land would not have any better of an answer. If the fool does read this response, delete my original post, for I shall not return to this mess of a forum.

I responded to your personal message with 1. The facts & explanations. 2. Questions so I could see whether you are in fact within scope of getting LW Pro replacement. There was nothing insulting, inaccurate or arrogant about the PM.

The PM reply from you was rude, insulting, kicking at both the forums & the helpers & myself and kicking at the LW company. You obviously did not come to seek assistance instead somewhere to flame and scream. Sorry but . bye ! That attitude was your choice. So were your own mistakes that you made, blaming your own mistakes on others. lol

And when assistance was offered to help you, you spat at it. pfft
